Terratec Cinergy hybrid T USB XS (sic!) DVB-T support on Linux

Amasingly, the em28xx driver just works! At least with kernel 2.6.24.6. But the user-space tuner driver is currently not available.

The signal strength of DVB-T seems to have improved over the last time I tried (one year ago). Now I can even watch TV without moving the antenna close to the window :-)

Here are the transponder settings for Austria (as they come with Ubuntu 8.04):

T 490000000 8MHz 3/4 NONE QAM16 8k 1/4 NONE #K23, Innsbruck
T 498000000 8MHz 3/4 NONE QAM16 8k 1/4 NONE #K24, Bregenz
T 562000000 8MHz 3/4 NONE QAM16 8k 1/4 NONE #K24, Salzburg (w/ overspill to Germany)
T 562000000 8MHz 3/4 NONE QAM16 8k 1/4 NONE #K43, Linz, Amstetten
T 754000000 8MHz 3/4 NONE QAM16 8k 1/4 NONE #K56, Eisenstadt
T 794000000 8MHz 3/4 NONE QAM16 8k 1/4 NONE #K61, Wien
T 802000000 8MHz 3/4 NONE QAM16 8k 1/4 NONE #K62, Graz
T 850000000 8MHz 3/4 NONE QAM16 8k 1/4 NONE #K68, St.Pölten
T 802000000 8MHz 3/4 NONE QAM16 8k 1/4 NONE #K69, Graz, Klagenfurt
And the channel list I got for Salzburg:
